A brilliantly executed abstract landscape oil composition painted by the established Swedish artist Ivar Morsing (1919-2009), whose works have been exhibited in public collections including the National Museum in Stockholm, Moderna Museet in Stockholm, Kalmar Museum, and Jönköping Museum.

In this abstracted composition, we can discern a tall tree punctuating the center of a lush nature landscape, and centrally positioned around the tree stand two indistinct figures.

The scene is bathed in a restrained palette of greens, blues, and yellows, creating a soft and gentle atmosphere. The artist employs expressive strokes and small swirls of paint, imbuing the artwork with a sense of movement and dynamism.

This oil on board is housed in a complementary gilt frame. Both the painting and frame are in excellent vintage condition.
