A gorgeous seascape of a harbour as well as several sailing boats and canoes floating in the ocean.

A group of people are spotted by the harbour, about to embark on the sail boat and set off for their holiday.

The work is imbued with a sense of movement, as the artist has used short and swift brushstrokes to skilfully illustrate the motion of the waves and tidal flow.

Different shades of blue including cerulean, turquoise and cobalt blue have been used to paint the ocean; and the overall work is simply vibrant and magnificent!

This oil on canvas is housed in a linen-lined wooden frame, that complements the painting wonderfully.

Both painting and frame are in excellent vintage condition.
