The facial details of the figures have consciously been omitted, inviting us to focus on colour instead, as each robe is in a distinct shade that all harmonise wonderfully together.

The artist has blended a combination of soft and muted colours as well as smooth and fluid brushstrokes, evoking a gentle and elegant aesthetic to the piece.

This oil on board is is housed in a complementary wood frame.  Both the painting and frame are in excellent vintage condition.
