A small but powerful abstract composition by British artist Lloyd Durling, painted with oil stick, oil pastel and graphite onto linen panel. Signed, titled and dated on reverse.
A play on texture, form, shape and line create this very satisfying pattered abstract. The tactility of the linen panel really enhances its raw, textured effect.
Both painting and frame are in excellent condition.

Lloyd Durling is a British artist working in London. His practice is painting-based and he has exhibited widely throughout Europe, U.S.A and Asia. In 2017 he was awarded a Pollock-Krasner Foundation grant. Works are held in both public and private collections worldwide.
