A selection of lively earthy colours as well as short, expressive and distinct brushstrokes fill the canvas, not only capturing the charm of the village scape but also adding texture, depth and tactility to the painting.
This oil on canvas is housed in its original mid century gilt frame with a linen and inner gilt lining that complements the painting very well. Both painting and frame are in excellent vintage condition.
