This charming oil study depicts vast farmland with cottages on the horizon. The artist captures the characteristic cloudy skies of the British countryside and matches it with the rich browns of the ploughed fields. The painting is housed in a distressed silver frame which suits it perfectly. Both painting and frame are in very good vintage condition. The frame has some minor scuffs but this is in keeping with its vintage style.
