A flourishing and captivating mid century Swedish still life artwork, painted in oil onto board.

Executed in a modernist style, the artist depicts a simple yet effective composition of two plants in terracotta pots, sitting quietly against a restrained background.

The muted earthy colour palette including shades of green and blue create a wonderful sense of harmony and balance within the picture, and also enriching the work with softness and a calming effect.  

This oil on board is housed in a complementary gilt frame and is in overall very good vintage condition. There is a small stain just by the leaf on the left pot as well as some minor marks on the frame, but this does not detract from its overall attractiveness.
