A really sweet and calm painting of two figures rowing in a lake. To the right we see a boat house with a small pier, probably from which the two figures came. In the distance we see a few houses set against a green tree lines landscape. The colours used in the picture are rich and vibrant, and the style is almost childlike, creating an air of innocent simplicity.
The painting is housed in a very unique frame, which as a woven lined border and an inner gilt window. Both painting and frame are in excellent vintage condition.
