A fun and playful mid-century geometric abstract composition, executed in oil onto canvas.

This painting focuses our attention on non-objective artistic elements such as colour, line, shape and form.

Working with a lively colour palette comprising shades of yellow, blue, black and green, an array of geometric forms in different shapes and sizes have been playfully arranged across the canvas, imbuing the painting with dynamism.

This oil on canvas is housed in a complementary gilt frame. The painting has some light scattered craquelure, but the paint layer is very stable overall. The frame has a small loss to its right edge as shown but this is not obvious when the painting is viewed from front on.
