A very well executed mid century modernist geometric landscape composition, painted in oil.

In this composition the artist has abstract the landscape before him, creating an almost kaleidoscope effect, with repeating flat planes of colour.

Angular forms fill the canvas, with the artist working under a cubist ethos, capturing the landscape from many angles onto a flat surface. A rich and vivid palette of complementary colours sit side by side, giving this painting its sense of depth and perspective.

The painting is housed in a wood frame with a fabric lined border. The painting has very tiny pinholes to the lower left and upper right corners that are only noticeable when viewed very closely. They in no way detract from the attractiveness of the piece. The frame is in good vintage condition as well.
