An expressive mid-century modernist oil composition, that captures a lively atmosphere of a bustling restaurant lined beside a sandy beach.

To the left of the painting, the artist has meticulously captured a crowd of people in an array of colours and expressive brushstrokes that add vibrancy and energy to the scene. To the right of the painting, we see a contrasted scene of a tranquil beach lined with loungers. The beach is inviting, and the use of soothing shades of white, blue and brown adds a touch of serenity.

This oil on card is housed in a complementary gilt frame with a white border. There are some light surface marks to the lower right section of the painting, and the painted border. The frame edges have some scuffing. Overall, the painting is in good vintage condition.
