A beautiful mid century coastal scape painted in oil, onto board. Deep, saturated blues and greens fill the composition, juxtaposed by white and black, and complemented by subtle tones of  pink. The painting exudes tranquillity and calm, and is a wonderful picture to rest ones eyes on to soothe the soul. As we look closer at the painting, we are able to discern the thistles of the paint brush moving in varied directions, creating the wonderful textures and colours that appear before us, and giving us an insight into the artist’s process.

This really gorgeous painting is housed in its original mid century frame. The painting is in excellent vintage condition. There is a minor scuff along the left edge of the frame, but it is otherwise in very good condition.
