A subtle and lightly textured miniature landscape composition, executed in oil in 1980.

Painted in a semi-abstract manner, the artist has left details of the landscape fairly obscure as he depicts vast open skies and a row of houses stretched across a rural land.

A range of soothing neutral earth tones have been used, and the darker to lighter shades transition across the canvas so harmoniously and thoughtfully.

This oil on canvas is in very good vintage condition. It is housed in a silver frame with red undertones, that contains some minor scuffs. The painting’s small size would make it the perfect addition to a shelf, bookshelf or above a bed side table.
