A soothing semi-abstract mid century oil painting depicting a coastal harbour. The painting is well balanced with equal visual weight as boats sit on the left on the artwork, and 2 figures strolling on a connecting boardwalk are painted on the right.

The painting demonstrates great depth and width – brought forth by the long multi-directional brushstrokes that sweep across the painting gracefully, as well as through the use of contrasting lively colour that sit beside and layer upon one another beautifully.

This oil on board is housed in a very complementary robust grainy wood frame. Both painting and frame are in excellent vintage condition.
