A very large and elegant seascape in oil, painted onto canvas. A warm, golden hue blankets this oil painting, imbuing it with a palpably calming, soothing effect. This skilfully executed seascape features a soft colour palette, which when viewed closely reveals a complexity in its colour blending. The artist has captured the light of the evening sun, when the sky boasts pastel hues of pink, orange, yellow and blue. Below this large expansive sky, we see a boat docked by 3 warehouses that echo the colours of the subtle evening light. The large size of the painting accentuates the panoramic effect of the seascape and would make for a wonderful resting point for tired eyes.

The painting is housed in an equally elegant large gilt frame which illuminates the painting further. Both painting and frame are in excellent vintage condition.
