A captivating and richly textured geometric abstract painting, executed in oil onto board and dated 1967  on reverse.

Geometric abstract in nature, the painting is an exploration of form, colour, texture, and technique. Various shapes including circles, triangles, and squares intermingle and intersect, and have been carefully arranged to establish a harmonious balance.

A range of blue shades from cerulean blue to azure blue, as well a black, commands our attention. The artist has employed the impasto technique, applying thick layers of paint to create a textured and tactile surface. The deliberate use of an aggregate substance further enhances the visual effect, lending an intriguing and three-dimensional quality to the artwork.

This oil on board is housed in a complementary black frame. There are some small and scattered areas of paint loss across the painting and some scuffing to the outer frame edges,  but the painting is in overall good vintage condition.
