A well-balanced and very pleasant modernist still life painting, executed in oil.

Placed atop a table sit an assortment of cut wildflowers, fruit, and dark brown vessel.

The delicate pastel colours of peach, greens and yellows as well as the soft and fine brushstrokes imbue the painting with a strong sense of calm and serenity. The manner in which the still life has been composed and proportioned is well balanced and fills the canvas very nicely.

This oil on board is housed in a complementary gilt frame with a white window. Both painting and frame are in very good vintage condition.
