Various objects sit on a drop leaf table, including two bottles, a pot of onions, a basket of vegetables, and two apples. This well balanced vertical composition features a rich and deep colour palette, as well as expressive brushwork that is remiscnent of painters like Paul Cezanne.

The painting is housed in a very well suited light wood frame. The painting has some very small areas of paint loss, as shown in the close up photos. This paint loss doesn’t detract from the overall attractiveness of the piece and is in keeping with its vintage look.

Please note that the photographs of the painting were taken under natural light and due to the dark colours of the paint, there is some glare evident in the photos.
