Figure in the Doorway

A mid-century painting that presents a quiet yet enigmatic interior scene, painted in oil onto board and dated 1954.

This oil on board is housed in a complementary solid wood frame with distinct grain, that adds character to the painting.  The painting is in excellent vintage condition, and the frame has scuffs.
