An incredibly well executed semi abstract modernist oil composition, painted in 1967 by the established artist Ivar Morsing.

This painting depicts what appears to be a group of figures huddled together. Although merged into one unified form, we can still make out some of the individual features of the figures. The painting has an exceptionally emotive effect (typical of Morsing’s style), alluding to hush whispers and murmurs emanating from the group. The rounded figures seem to pulsate from the surface, their curved forms intertwining, weaving in and out from each other.

The painting is housed in a black floater frame that suits it very well. The painting is in good vintage condition. The edges of the board have been taped (as shown in close ups), some of which has some wear. The frame is in good vintage condition.
