A pleasant and well-balanced modernist painting, executed in oil onto board.

This picturesque composition presents a beautiful sea view, of rows of houses surrounded by lush trees that line a coast.

Painterly brushstrokes and a very uplifting colour palette comprising shades of green, yellow and blue have been used, wonderfully capturing the lively spirit of this neighbourhood.

This oil on board is housed in a deep-profiled frame. The painting has a small loss to its bottom right corner (as shown in the images), but is in very good vintage condition overall. This loss is not obvious unless inspected closely, and does not detract from its overall attractiveness. The frame has some areas of light scuffing.
