The artist has achieved a very balanced composition, making this still life a real pleasure to look at.

This still life is extremely textured – the artist has added an aggregate to the surface, creating an almost three dimensional and sculptural effect.

The painting is housed in a solid wood frame which has hand carved ribbed grooves, and suits the still life very well. Both painting and frame are in excellent vintage condition.
