The striking still life depicts a vase of red, white and orange carnations in a small vase on a tabletop with other objects and fruit surrounding it. The painting features a rich earth palette painted in expressive brushstrokes, and has a wonderful homely feel about it.
The painting is housed in a very lovely painted wood frame. Both painting and frame are in very good vintage condition.
