Executed in bold colours and confident brushstrokes, this artwork depicts an elderly couple admiring the wonder and beauty of nature. They look out towards the choppy waters, a storm is brewing in the green lit sky, as strong tidal waves are crashing in the vast ocean.

With areas of thick impasto creating texture and three dimensionality – the work is imbued with a strong sense of movement, as one can almost feel the energy of the breaking waves.

This oil on canvas is housed in a complementary beige wooden frame. Both artwork and frame are in excellent vintage condition.
