Abstract in nature, we can discern what may appear to be a group of figures at a park surrounded by trees and a lake.
All realistic details have been omitted, and the artist has thoughtfully reduced the composition down to blocks of contrasting colour.
Using a range of muted earthy shades, the colour palette is outstanding and serene, and the painting is very well-balanced overall.
This oil on canvas is housed in a slim gilt frame with a linen inner border. The painting is in excellent vintage condition, and the frame has some minor scuffs.
