In this enchanting painting, rows of houses and trees are depicted on snow-filled streets on a winter’s day.

Post-impressionist in style, there is a strong emphasis on geometric form, bold colours and distinctive brushstrokes.

The artist has used a rich and vivid colour palette including shades of red, orange and green that imbue the painting with a lively and festive feel. The expressive and short brushstrokes add a lovely textural quality to the painting.

This painting in housed in a very sturdy wood frame with visible grains, that pairs wonderfully with it. There are some areas of paint loss across the painting (particularly 4 spots), commensurate with its age, but the work is in it is good vintage condition overall.
