The artwork depicts a standing female figure in a black dress, whereby the artist has intentionally chosen to leave out her facial details.

Painted in a semi abstract manner, the work is composed of scribble-like brushstrokes that have been executed swiftly and confidently; and the overall colour palette is restrained – comprising muted and neutral colour tones that instill a sense of timelessness to the piece.

This oil on board is housed in a simple white frame. Both painting and frame are in excellent vintage condition.
