A visually striking abstract watercolour, painted in 1963. The artist has used a myriad of deep, rich, warm colours to create this balanced composition, but has juxtaposed the variegated purple and red tones with pops of bright yellow.
The painting is housed in a white mount card and an elegant gilt frame. It is also glazed (there is a sheet of glass between the frame and the painting). The painting is in excellent vintage condition. The frame has some minor scuffs to its edges.
