He has used a rich and earthy colour palette that gives this painting its very ‘homely’ and ‘country’ feel. The composition is very well balanced, and there is a very satisfying sense of harmony (both in terms of structure as well as colour) that makes this painting very appealing to look at it.

The painting is housed in a simple wood frame that suits it perfectly. The painting is in very good vintage condition. The frame has some scuffing to its edges, as shown.
