A gorgeous coastal scape featuring 2 boats left ashore, amidst luscious plants by a secluded beach.

The artist has used a light and muted colour palette; and what is most striking is the visible and energetic brushstrokes that have been executed with so much confidence and certainty in directional flow to give rise to the various forms.

The painting is framed in a unique and characterful wood and gilt frame with an inner linen lining. The grain of the wood frame has purposefully been left exposed under the gilt coating, adding a wonderful effect.

Both painting and frame are in excellent vintage condition.
