Featuring expressive colouring, loose handling of the brush and indistinct forms, this painting captures the fresh and summery feel of the landscape. Broad strokes of colour that are short and expressive capture a rural landscape scene with a cottage punctuating the right side of the composition.
This large painting is housed in a robust wide profile wood frame that complements it very well. Both painting and frame are in very good vintage composition.
