Still Life with Fruit

A large, richly coloured, long still life in a unique mid century frame, measuring almost a metre in length. Striking vessels in emerald green, tangerine orange, and midnight blue sit amongst gem like apples.  This still life features an intense and jewel like colour palette, creating a real sense of luminosity and three dimensionality within the painting and the depicted objects.

The painting is housed in a beautiful mid century textured white frame with an inner off white and dark grey border. The painting has some minor craquelure, which is typical for an oil of this age, but overall the paint layer is very stable. The frame has some minor scuffs to the inner border but is in good vintage condition overall.
