In this portrait composition, a striking face stares back at us with a stern and serious expression. Post impressionist in style, the artist has used non naturalistic and vivid colours, as well as emphasising the geometric form of the face by using hard edged and bold lines.
This distinctive portrait is housed in a really nice double accented frame. The painting is in very good vintage condition. The frame has a some minor scuffing and marks but is in keeping with its overall vintage style.
