Painted in a cubist style, this piece features hard edged shapes in saturated colour. A perfume bottle, a potted plant with a single flower and an apple sit atop a mirrored table. Using a range of non representation colours, the artist has highlighted the forms and shadows of the objects. Broad and distinct brushwork give this painting an expressive and very dynamic feel.

The painting is housed in its original mid century frame with a dark wood window as well as an inner linen lined window. The painting is in excellent vintage condition. The painting has some minor scuffs and marks, commensurate with age.
