A vivid and striking mid century modernist still life, painted in oil onto canvas.

In this composition, three peppers sit alongside two vessels, and draped behind and under them is a white cloth. Broad and textured brushstrokes fill the canvas in saturated colour. This painting would make a find addition to a kitchen or dining area, adding a wonderful pop of colour to any interior space.

The painting is housed in a very well crafted mid century frame that has woven jute lining and gilt borders. The painting is in very good vintage condition. The frame has a scuff to the lower left of the inner window (as shown in the close up), but is otherwise in very good condition.
