Through the use of an earthy colour palette and expressive painterly brushstrokes, this panoramic lush landscape view captures the spectacular beauty of nature, as we see a lake flowing through a valley under a rich vast sky.

The balance and harmony of this composition is very well done, and the artist clearly has a fine mastery of his medium.

This oil painting has been executed on canvas that has been laid onto board. It is housed in its original deep-profiled wood frame. The painting is in very good vintage condition, and the frame has some areas of scuff, commensurate with its age.
