A semi abstract landscape view of a mountainous lake scene, painted in oil in 1975. There is an almost sketch-like, unfinished feel to this painting, which adds to its abstract quality. Yet when we take our time to inspect the painting, it is evident that the artist was very intentional with his style. Large, expressive strokes fill the canvas with swathes of colour, with some several areas painted thinly, allowing the texture of the canvas to show through.

The painting is housed in its original mid century wood frame with reddish brown tints and an inner fabric lined border. Both painting and frame are in excellent vintage condition.
