A uniquely framed oil depicting a trees by a lake. The frame truly brings the small landscape to life, with its inner beading drawing our eyes in toward the centre, where we notice small and fine brushstrokes in calming tones of green, white, grey and blue. The deep profile of the frame adds a ‘window’ like effect, and its silvery mottled edges outline the overall picture wonderfully.

The oil painting is in excellent vintage condition. The frame has some minor paint loss and scuffs to the edges, most of which has been restored.
