A minimalist abstract mid-century interior scene, executed in oil onto paper.

The composition is built around rectangular shapes and planes, intersecting and overlapping in a way that creates a sense of perspective, as if looking into an open mezzanine space.

The colour palette is dominated by muted subdued tones, primarily various shades of grey, soft whites, and a hint of pale blue. This restrained use of colour gives the work a calm, serene atmosphere, with each shade transitioning smoothly into the next.

The brushstrokes are flat and smooth, contributing to the overall minimalist look and feel of the painting.

This oil on paper has been laid to a backing card, and is framed behind glass to ensure its longevity. The painting is in excellent vintage condition, and the frame has some scuffs. Please note that there is some slight glare present in the photographs due to the glass.
