This scenic nature landscape composition presents a panoramic view of a river meandering through a lush landscape.

The artist has skilfully used contrasting shades of rich earthy colours to give rise to the various forms as well as to demonstrate depth to the painting. Distinct energetic and expressive brushstrokes have been confidently executed across the canvas, invigorating the work with a sense of dynamism.

This oil on canvas is housed in a complementary gilt frame with an inner linen lining. There is a very tiny spot of paint loss to the top right of the painting (as shown in the images) which is very inconspicuous, and the frame has areas of scuffing commensurate with age. Both painting and frame are in good vintage condition overall.
