Matchsticks

A fun and playful 1972 limited edition (159/360) coloured lithograph, signed by Lennart Rodhe.

The artist depicts various groups of matchsticks in different configurations, playing with shape, form, line and colour. Upon a striking red background we see a page that has been torn out of a sketchpad, giving the composition its light-hearted, playful feel.

This mid century print is housed behind glass in a very complementary gilt frame. Both print and frame are in good vintage condition.

Size: 45.5 x 55.5 cm (including the frame)
