This modernist oil features large and sweeping gestural brushstrokes, and the impression of spontaneity. There is a sense of an outpouring of emotion, and we can visualise the artist’s hand dancing around the picture, creating layers of dynamic marks on the surface.
The painting is housed in a simple white frame. Both painting and frame are in very good vintage condition. The frame has some very minor scuffs but this does not detract from the overall attractiveness of the piece.
