Painted in an abstract manner, the artist has chosen not to paint in realistic details and instead has rendered a hazy impression of what appears to be a boat in the middle of a vast ocean.

Using a restrained palette of cool blues, white and grey, the work captures a seamless transition of the sea and sky so wonderfully. And the quick and expressive brushstrokes create a blurry feel of that moment in time as well as add a lovely textural quality to the work.

This oil on canvas is housed in a complementary silver frame. Both painting and frame are in excellent vintage condition.
