Jasmines are depicted in full bloom and growing out from a copper flower pot that has been placed at a corner of a living room. The artist has skillfully captured the reflection of this pot cast against the flooring, as well as the shadows of the flowers that have been cast on the wall

One is able to get a sense of the style of this home setting – as we see the light floral patterned curtains, and the colourful rug near it.

The artist has used  fine and soft brushstrokes to create a smooth and delicate effect to the work; and the earthy colour palette gives a soothing feel.

The painting is surrounded by a dark wooden frame with an inner gold window which suits it perfectly.
