In this fascinating composition, we can discern 2 masked figures surrounded by mountains. Due to its peculiar nature, the painting could resemble a dream-like imagery and contain elements of surrealism, which is an artistic movement that focuses on the exploration of the unconscious mind.

The focal colour is blue, with strong punctuations of orange and white. The artist displays his mastery in the medium of oil as he overlays colours, resulting in almost silkscreen-like print effect.

This oil on canvas is housed in a slim silver frame. There is a small loss to the lower left corner of the frame, but this isn’t visible from the front. Overall, both painting and frame are in very good vintage condition.
