A fantastic semi abstract oil depicting a figure within an abstracted background, painted in a cool palette of blue, white and yellow. The artist has intentionally focussed on the play of colour, choosing to leave out any realistic details or sense of perspective or context. A figure sits in the centre of the picture, and although distinct, he seems to almost be on the verge of merging into the curtain of colour behind him. This painting has a wonderful sense of playfulness and mystery about it.
The painting is housed in a light champagne frame with hints of red. Both painting and frame are in excellent vintage condition.
