A large and beautifully textured coastal landscape composition, executed in oil onto canvas.

This restful painting presents a panoramic view of a coastline during low tide, lined with sand and trees. The artist has used a soothing palette of contrasting shades to demonstrate depth and width, and has created areas of impasto where the paint stands proud from the surface to evoke tactility.

Running close to a metre in length, the painting’s size would make it the perfect addition above a bed or sofa.

This oil on canvas is housed in a complementary light wood frame with an inner black and gilt window. The painting is in excellent vintage condition. There are some scuffs to the edges of the frame.
