The short, swift and textured brushstrokes that have been executed so confidently imbue the work with energy and movement, yet the painting has an overall air of bliss and serenity.
What’s striking as well is the vibrant colour palette of choice. The artist has beautifully painted blocks of contrasting green in both saturated and pastel shades; and has skilfully been able to execute the painting with flat planes of colour while still maintaining perspective within the picture.
This oil on chipboard is in excellent vintage condition. It is housed in a complementary silver frame with slight areas of paint loss (as shown in the images).
