Distinct expressive and beautifully textured brushstrokes have been used across this composition to create this bold and striking painting.

The artist has played with a range of rich earthy colours, and although the subject matter appears to be entirely abstract, we can discern what may be a house in a forest surrounded by autumnal coloured trees being skilfully abstracted down to blocks of contrasting colours.

This oil on canvas is housed in a complementary deep profile frame. The painting is in excellent vintage condition, and the frame has some general wear commensurate with age, but this is keeping in line with its overall style.
